It is not uncommon for W.A. to receive the monthly quota of rain in a few days and 46 millimetres of rain would represent 7 or 8 days rain in April.  Rain usually comes in short heavy showers, and we rarely experience long periods of light rain.

Clothing

Autumn (March to May) are mild to warm so bring light to medium-weight clothing.  Shorts and t-shirts are generally warm enough for the Easter break during the day.  Nights can be a little cool so warmer clothes would be appropriate for evenings.
